Working at MONOM

MONOM is a 57 speaker spatial audio studio located in Berlin. The system itself is the creation of a company in Amsterdam called 4D Sound who also develop the spatialisation and interface software. At the time of writing there is only one other system of its kind, which is located in Budapest at the Spatial Sound Institute.

As of 2020 I’m working in the Berlin studio. It’s already been such a pleasure to be involved in the composition of many exciting musical projects pushing the creative boundries. And there’s some really exciting ones coming up! Hopefully I’ll be organized enough to share some good documentation from the inside the magical world of spatial audio!
